We offer all of the training you’ll need to be successful in this business. There is training available at the home office, through self-study, at conferences and also online. All of our training has been developed by working with our top producers and using our experience in working with tax and accounting professionals for more than 20 years. By partnering with us, you can be assured that you’ll have access to the training that is necessary to be successful in this business.
The Financial Planning Institute (FPI) is a three-day workshop for Advisors who are in the early stages of building their financial planning practices. FPI will help you:
- Establish and articulate your value proposition to clients
- Move your conversations and client relationships beyond taxes to broader financial planning issues
- Better understand how to advise clients on asset allocation, rebalancing strategies and appropriate investment vehicle selection
If you decide to attend this course, you’ll have a thorough understanding of what it will take to successfully integrate financial planning into your practice and a plan to accomplish it.
You don’t. While we do offer our Financial Planning Institute here in Dallas, it’s only a small part of the overall training that is available to our Advisors. In addition to FPI we offer self-study training, a national conference, regional summits and training online. We know how important training is to our Advisors, and we make sure that you have access to it. If it’s training you’re looking for, we’re the partner for you.
We offer our National Conference each year. National Conference is held every June at a city in the U.S. These conferences offer training in how to build your business, financial planning topics, technology and some motivational courses. In addition to the training you have the opportunity to network with other H.D. Vest Advisors and learn from their experiences. Because we feel it is important for Advisors to experience a conference we offer newly licensed H.D. Vest Advisors credits that can be used to cover the registration for the National conference during their first year with H.D. Vest.
